Charles Elliott Newbold, Jr., grew up in a denominational church, graduated from seminary, and pastored twelve years before falling away from the faith and becoming a professed atheist. In 1978, God radically turned him around and caused him to seek the Lord with a whole heart. In the following years he served as pastor, teacher, and counselor in various settings: a house church, the denominational church, and in independent ministry. All of these experiences as well as the ministry he has received from others have contributed to the insights he has put into his books. He resides with his wife, Nancy, in Tennessee where he continues his writing.
